Hello Wonderful Families!
This weekend was beautiful and I hope everyone enjoyed the extra day off!
Today started our third grade bracelet sales and it will last until February 25th. Our class is scheduled to sale bracelets on Wednesday, 2/20.
Also we will be making landform maps out of flour and salt, but we need your help. If boys could bring a bag of flour and girls bring in 2 containers of salt, they will turn out wonderfully! We will be making them on Friday from 10:00-11:00. On Monday, February 25th we will be painting the landforms. So if you would like to come help, please let me know so that I can notify the front office that I am expecting you.
Thank you all for your continued support!
Have a great week!

Welcome Back! Jan 7-11
Hello Wonderful Families!
I hope everyone had a relaxing break! I would like to say a huge THANK YOU for the lovely gifts and treats given to me during the holiday party. How thoughtful of you all! One last thank you goes out to the parents and family members that were able to attend our party. It was a success!
Today is the first day of the 3rd nine weeks and everyone starts off fresh and new. Below you will find important information and upcoming dates.
This week you will find reports of the December District Assessments in math, reading, and science. Please review the scores and reflection with your child and return it to school. Record any questions and concerns at the bottom of the page.
Reminders: Science fair is optional for 3rd graders, but if your child is interested in participating this year’s science fair, please attend Science Fair Research Night on Thursday, January 10th from 5:30-6:30pm. There will be sample projects displayed and teachers to provide answers for any questions about the science fair. If your child participates in the science fair, he/she will receive extra credit in my class for science and writing!
Sokikom now has e-mail parent reports. I will be sending those every Friday for you and your child to review their behavior for the week. These reports will look slightly different than the ones from the beginning of the year because it is a different program.
Report cards go home on January 14th. Explorer Excellence Awards will be on Tuesday, January 15th, at 8:00-8:30 in the cafeteria. Award invitations will go home this Thursday.
